Maine STEM Education and Workforce Plan Version 2- The Plan was written to be bold, to offer some radical though reasonable ideas, and to create the momentum across sectors that is needed to help Maine realize its potential in STEM education and workforce situations. We did not expect each of the milestones would be implemented as written but we did expect a hue and cry from educators, business representatives, administrators, legislators, and others to join in this attempt to develop strategies, initiatives, and methods to enhance STEM education.

Maine STEM Education and Workforce Plan Version 1- This plan is the culmination of phase one of the Council’s work: to develop initial strategies and identify actions needed to improve STEM education and workforce preparation in Maine, as we were directed by our originating legislation.
STEM Resource Bank- Maine offers a wealth of out of school programs for students interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The Reach Center, a project of the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance, has created a STEM Resource Bank that connects these students with experiences that build enthusiasm and expertise in a specific topic area, and with other students that share their interests.
The Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance- The Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance (MMSA) has a number of free resources focused on STEM education.
